ALL THAT'S REAL (2019)

GATHERING SPARKS’ new album “All That’s Real” blends finely crafted songs, transcendent vocals, stellar musicianship on guitar, keyboard, ukulele, and accordion, and compelling stories into a potent balm for troubled times. In times that cry out for love over hate, “All That’s Real” delivers.

Writing together for the first time, band members EVE GOLDBERG & JANE LEWIS combined their love of word play, strong melodies, and harmony singing to create 11 new songs (plus one cover of a Pete Townshend classic) that will take you on a journey from hopeful, to thoughtful, to joyful and back again.

Produced by Jeff Bird (Cowboy Junkies), the album includes guest appearances from Cheryl Prashker (percussion), Anne Lindsay (fiddle), Joel Schwartz (guitar), Kevin Breit (guitar), and a host of harmony singers.

LIMITED EDITION (2018)

A limited number of this 6-song EP were printed and sold as a way of raising funds to finish recording a full album. The EP is no longer available, Thank you, crowdfunders! All That's Real (released September 2019) is the result of your support.

GATHERING SPARKS (2014)

Gathering Sparks started out as a trio, and their first EP was released in 2014. It garnered a 2014 Canadian Folk Music Award nomination for Vocal Group of the Year!

This debut recording is a six-song gem, reflecting the simple, yet rich harmonies and instrumentation of the trio's live sound. The band members each take a turn at songwriting and singing lead, highlighting the fact that these are three solid musicians in their own right.
